About Mahyra

Mahyra is deeply committed to the belief that being a therapist means embodying humanity, offering a compassionate ear and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can express themselves openly. She believes that as long as we experience emotions, we are alive, and these emotions deserve space to be seen, felt, and released, otherwise, they often manifest in ways that impact our mental and physical well-being.

With an integrative therapeutic approach, Mahyra tailors her work to the unique emotional and psychological needs of each person. She specialises in supporting individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and relational challenges. Her practice also includes working with survivors of abuse, clients struggling with identity, belonging, and cultural displacement.

Mahyra is particularly attuned to how trauma can affect the body, relationships, and one’s core sense of self. She supports clients in unlearning unhelpful patterns, building self-awareness, and reconnecting with their inner resilience. Her work is grounded in cultural sensitivity, compassion, and the belief that therapy is not just for when things go wrong but can be a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth.

“My mission is to shift the perception of therapy from being merely for those with ‘problems’ to a transformative journey of self-discovery, helping individuals better understand themselves and ultimately reach their fullest potential.”

Mahyra provides unwavering support throughout the therapeutic process, walking alongside clients as they explore their inner world and navigate life’s challenges.
