Set a time limit for yourself for as little or as long as you’d like and starting writing whatever comes to your mind, even if nothing does, write that down for example ‘I don’t know what to write or nothing is coming to my mind’, don’t try and push yourself to hard as ideas come into our mind when we are more relaxed. When you make a mistake don’t correct it but just keep writing. Use the first word that comes to your mind instead of thinking how to better phrase it, it just needs to make sense to you. You’ll continue writing until your time limit is over and then once it is, just stop writing. The purpose of this exercise is to allow you to organise your thoughts, which can provide a sense of relief. It can also support you in brining yourself clarity, as well as, allowing you to be present in the moment.
