Therapeutic Approach
Diana is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and works interactively, tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each individual. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy and Schema Therapy, her work is collaborative, values-driven, and grounded in culturally sensitive and trauma-informed principles.
She believes therapy should honor the individual’s narrative—helping people uncover meaning, make sense of their lived experiences, and move forward with greater insight and empowerment. Diana places strong emphasis on insight-oriented exploration and mind-body connection—exploring how thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviours interact. She regularly incorporates mindfulness, grounding techniques, and psychoeducation to help clients regulate distress and reconnect with their internal strengths.
