Therapeutic Approach

As an integrative psychotherapist, Arezu draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor the process to each client’s unique needs. This includes methods such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic insights, and mindfulness-based techniques. While Arezu integrates different modalities, her core approach is person-centred, with the therapeutic relationship at its foundation. Arezu offers a warm and supportive environment where clients can safely explore emotional challenges and begin their journey toward healing and personal growth.

About Arezu

From a young age, I was deeply curious about how societies function and what shapes the human mind and behaviour. As a teenager, I explored different schools of thought, trying to understand why we think, feel, and act the way we do. This curiosity led me to leave my home country at 15, and I’ve since lived in four different countries, always drawn to multicultural environments and diverse ways of being. These experiences have shaped me into a culturally sensitive and deeply non-judgmental therapist. I believe that everyone’s path holds meaning, and that no one should be judged for where they are on their journey. My work is grounded in empathy and compassion, and I aim to offer a safe, supportive space where you can begin to understand yourself more fully, heal, and grow.

Experience

I have worked with organisations supporting asylum seekers and refugees, where I primarily supported individuals facing challenges such as trauma, displacement, loneliness, and racism. I am also running my private practice, where I work with people from all walks of life and with a wide range of concerns. These experiences have allowed me to develop a deep sensitivity to cultural and individual differences, and have strengthened my commitment to offering a compassionate, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for every client.
