About Ilva

Ilva is a passionate and dedicated therapist who brings warmth, empathy, and professionalism to her work. Ilva’s therapeutic approach is rooted in her belief that no one should face their struggles alone. She creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel truly heard and begin to make sense of their experiences. Her aim is to help each person move towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Ilva works interactively, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to meet each client’s unique needs. Her practice includes elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. This flexible, client-led approach enables her to adapt her work to the specific goals and challenges of each individual.

Experience

With over two years of experience in mental health support, she has worked with a wide range of individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, trauma, panic attacks, ADHD, autism, and issues related to identity. She also has experience supporting clients from the LGBTQ+ community. Her lived understanding and compassionate presence help clients feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Her message to clients is simple yet powerful:

Together, we can work towards your goals and help you find the strength and resilience within yourself. “Life doesn’t always get easier – but with the right support, we grow stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to face what comes our way.”
